WHAT IS PTE TEST?

The PTE (Pearson Test of English) academic exam is a computer-delivered English language test for non-native students or aspirants who want to study or immigrate to an English-speaking country. The test is 3 hours long and includes essay writing, multiple-choice questions, explaining or paraphrasing given information, etc. The test questions are mostly based on the regular English language, spoken on a daily basis. The format of the questions is such that it usually tests two skills together which are reading and speaking or listening and writing.

FORMATS OF PTE

1. PTE Academic: This test can be taken

throughout the year as per the test taker's convenience and on available dates. The candidate's reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills are tested in this test format.

2. PTE General: This test can be taken 3 times a year viz. May, June, and December. The candidate's reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills are tested in this test format with a more realistic approach.
